Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Organ Transplantation Medicine (IJOTM) is committed to the unrestricted dissemination of high-quality research in transplantation medicine. All articles published in the journal are made available online immediately upon publication with free and permanent access for readers worldwide, without subscription, registration, or paywall barriers.

IJOTM follows a diamond open access model. Authors are not charged submission fees, peer review fees, or article processing charges, and readers may access all published content free of charge. This approach reflects the journal’s commitment to supporting the widest possible circulation of scientific and clinical knowledge in organ and tissue transplantation. The journal’s current editorial policy page already states immediate open access and no submission or peer review processing charges.

All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Under this license, users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, share, adapt, and build upon the published material in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author or authors and to the journal, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

Authors retain copyright in their work. By publishing in IJOTM, authors grant the journal the right to publish, archive, and identify itself as the original publisher of the article. The CC BY 4.0 license ensures that published research can be disseminated and reused widely while preserving proper attribution to the original source.

Open access in IJOTM is intended to promote equitable access to scientific knowledge, increase the visibility and reach of published research, and support the global exchange of evidence and experience in transplantation medicine across clinical, academic, and policy communities.
